Abstract

Generation of soliton pulses on distinct frequency bands from a single optical pump is demonstrated using ultra-low-loss Si 3 N 4 optical microresonators. Soliton proper-ties are characterized, the required dispersion condition is analyzed, and potential applications are discussed.
