This article provides a detailed analysis of the stylistic function of temporal lexico-syntactic units in literary texts from a linguostylistic perspective. Time is examined as a universal concept that is understood not only through language but also through national consciousness, cultural experience, and life philosophy. The study explores the poetic, symbolic, and psychological functions of temporal syntactemes, as well as their role in organizing the structural, narrative, and emotional dynamics of literary texts. Based on examples from Ch. Aitmatov’s The White Steamship and K. Akmatov’s Time, the article illustrates how temporal syntactemes influence the logical sequence of narration, reflect the inner state of characters, and contribute to the creation of poetic imagery. The article considers explicit time markers, generalized time expressions and poetic-symbolic constructions as stylistic tools that enhance the artistic quality of the text. As a result, it is emphasized that temporal syntactemes are stylistically significant units that ensure semantic, emotional, and compositional coherence. This study lays the foundation for a linguopoetic analysis of the literary representation of the concept of time in Kyrgyz language.
