The Artworks of Tetiana Yablonska in the Collection of the Kharkiv Art Museum

This article examines the creative work of Ukrainian artist Tetiana Yablonska (1917–2005) as represented in the collection of the Kharkiv Art Museum. It also explores possible restoration strategies for the museum, whose building was severely damaged during the full-scale war, in order to resume the exhibition of Yablonska’s artworks. The research is based on the principle of objectivity and employs both general and specialized methods, including historical-chronological, retrospective, and cultural analysis. The topic is especially relevant in the context of preserving national cultural heritage under martial law. The article provides a complete list of Yablonska’s works held in the museum’s collection. Detailed study and documentation of these works—including photographic recording, descriptive analysis, and integration into the scholarly discourse—contribute to the prevention of future loss or unauthorized export of cultural assets.
