The article presents an analysis the political rise and fall of Igor Strelkov/Girkin — one of famous heroes of military conflict at the South-East Ukraine (Donbass). The main objective of this study is relationships between Putin’s regime and pro-Russian “dogs of war” at Donbass in the person of Igor Strelkov. The paper also devoted to an analysis how Donbass’s warlord Strelkov became an ultra-conservative challenge to Kremlin. He is defined as social-oriented “imperialist” in essence and implementation. The author argued that in terms of political activity Kremlin is fear of Strelkov as an unpredictable and radical person. Strelkov was retired from Donbass war at August, 2014 by Kremlin because got looks for ideological and political alternative to Putin’s oligarch capitalism and corrupted kleptocracy. Strelkov has strongly critisized following (since his dismiss from Donbass) war in Ukraine as well as Russia’s Syrian military operation as an “alien war”. Since he was mibilized by Russian authorities as an ideological pro-Putin’s activist against Khodorkovsky. The article concludes with a summary Strelkov is spent force as a military activist since fall of flag of “Novorossiya”.
