In July 2021, a salvage excavation was conducted on 38 Koré Ha-Dorot Street in the Arnona neighborhood of Jerusalem (Permit No. A-9056; map ref. 221086–93/628368–74; Fig. 1), prior to construction work. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Avital Group—A.K Urban Renewal Ltd., was directed by G. Fried, with the assistance of N. Nehama (administration), L. Oz (preliminary inspection), S. Halevi (surveying, photography and photogrammetry), O. Zakaim (plan and sections), I. Naor (metallurgical laboratory), H. Sokolov (numismatics), S. Terem (pottery), I. Lidsky-Reznikov (digital documentation) and Y. Zelinger (consultation and scientific guidance).
