In July 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted at the western edge of Tel Sheva h , within Moshav Tenuvot (Permit No. A-8803; map ref. 196884–909/690521–43; Fig. 1). The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Y. Evron, was directed by M. Hater, with the assistance of Y. Amrani (administration), S. Emmanuilov (surveying and photography), Y. Tepper (guidance), P. Gendelman (pottery), J. Roskin (geology appendix), A. Azav and workers from Kafr Manda.
