Key Points

  • This model extends the peccei-quinn mechanism to enforce cp conservation in strong interactions.
  • It discusses a scotogenic model of quark masses utilizing $Z_3 \times Z_3$ symmetry with one Higgs doublet.
  • Additionally, it proposes a natural extension to the lepton sector using $A_4 \times A_4$ flavor symmetry.
  • Implications for understanding dark quarks and their interactions are also highlighted.

Abstract

Implementing the Peccei-Quinn mechanism to enforce CP conservation in strong interactions with heavy dark quarks, a scotogenic model of quark masses with Z₃ Z₃ symmetry is discussed where there is only one Higgs doublet. A natural extension to the lepton sector using A₄ A₄ is also presented.
