This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the latest advancements in liquid, gel, and solid electrolytes for next-generation batteries. We examine the fundamental properties, recent material innovations, and comparative performance metrics of each electrolyte type, with a focus on ionic conductivity, thermal stability, safety, and compatibility with advanced electrode materials.
