The objective of construction management is to deliver projects that meet customer requirements, business values, and goals in the most efficient manner. As the construction industry remains plagued by complex challenges throughout its project lifecycle, including cost overruns, safety incidents, and labor shortages. This stagnation can be attributed, in part, to the industry's lagging digitization efforts. However, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing other sectors like manufacturing and retail, offering a glimmer of hope for improved efficiency.This study investigates the transformative potential of AI in construction. By exploring the opportunities and challenges of integrating various AI subfields, such as machine learning and natural language processing, into key project phases. By conducting a critical analysis of existing research, including "Rise of AI in Construction Management," aiming to identify where AI patterns can be seamlessly integrated to maximize project success. By examining existing research and real-world case studies, this study aims to bridge the gap between the theoretical potential of AI and its practical implementation in the construction industry. Ultimately, the goal is to provide actionable insights for industry stakeholders seeking to harness the power of AI to improve project outcomes.
