The study presents the findings of assessing work-life balance (WLB) strategies for Builders in the Nigerian construction industry. A quantitative approach was employed, aided by using a well-structured questionnaire that elicited responses from Builders in the Nigerian construction industry, to assess the improvement strategies adopted by Builders in the Nigerian construction industry in ensuring a balance between work and life. The retrieved data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Mann-Whitney U Test, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The result of the study showed that the most rated strategies across the two cadres assessed were continuous professional development, cutting down on work overtime, and reduction in office-related work at weekends. The result of the EFA gave three derived constructs, which are professional and work-related strategy, leisure-related strategy, and self-oriented strategy. To conclude, the research findings from this study present a guideline for which stakeholders can help builders in the Nigerian construction industry attain WLB. The identification and understanding of key strategies that could enhance WLB for builders would ensure a balanced, suitable, and fulfilling life for builders in Nigeria.
