Abstract

In the early 20th century, during the Soviet period, the efforts of the Kyrgyz people to achieve independent statehood began with the project of creating the Kyrgyz mountainous region and ended with the creation of the Kyrgyz SSR. The article describes the efforts of the Kyrgyz people to achieve independent statehood in the Soviet period in the 20-30s of the twentieth century, which led to the formation of the Kyrgyz national statehood (on October 14, 1924 the Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast became part of the RSFSR, in 1926 it became the Kyrgyz ASSR, and in 1936 it became a union republic - the Kyrgyz SSR) and created conditions for its economic development. During these years, Kyrgyz statehood was founded only as a result of the labors of outstanding citizens of the Kyrgyz people.
