Abstract

This bioinformatics-driven investigation delivers insights on the complexity of the vacA gene in Helicobacter pylori and its significant role in the pathogenesis of peptic ulcers.Through exhaustive use of various bioinformatics tools and databases, this paper uncovers the 3D visualization of the vacA gene, similarities of this particular gene with other strains of Helicobacter pylori, the pathway of the pathogenesis of peptic ulcer, molecular mechanism of vacA-mediated cellular effects, phylogenetic analysis of vacA gene and its taxonomy. This study also considers current therapeutic implications, pinpointing potential targets within the vacA gene. Finally, it also highlights present and ongoing research, future research directions in studying H. pylori virulence factors, offering a comprehensive perspective on vacA and its significance on peptic ulcer pathogenesis.
