As an important part of the film art, color is becoming more and more critical in the modern film creation. By analyzing the application status of color aesthetics in modern films, this paper discusses the role of color in narrative, emotional rendering, visual impact and other aspects, and puts forward corresponding development strategies for the existing problems. The rational application of color aesthetics in the film creation cannot only enhance the artistic value of the film, but also bring a richer audio-visual experience to the audience. The article aims to provide reference and guidance for the development of modern film color aesthetics.
