The rise of China's green finance in recent years has been substantial, mostly propelled by the pursuit of the "double carbon" aim. At the same time, the Chinese government strongly supports banks in developing green credit and supporting enterprises that meet green development requirements. According to the latest research data, China ranks second in the world in terms of issuance scale of green bonds. Consequently, China has emerged as a prominent global participant in the domain of green finance. The main objective of this study is to examine the historical development and current state of green finance in China, while also aiming to suggest potential strategies for its future progress and explore possibilities for international collaboration. This report presents proposals aimed at facilitating the advancement of green finance within China, with the goal of accelerating its growth domestically.
