This Special Issue is composed with selected extended versions of papers of '5th International Conference on Energy Systems, Drives and Automations' (ESDA2022), held on 31st December 2022 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.Most of the papers are from electrical, mechanical, computer, electronics and of medical electronics areas.After checking all quality parameters, all articles were assigned to at least two peer reviewers as per guideline of the journal of Microsystem Technologies.
