The present investigation delved into the concept of ampacity, exploring its classification and practical implications. Methodological norms regulating ampacity were elucidated, alongside computations of both static and dynamic ampacity for prevalent conductors within the Slovak electric power system. Moreover, the study extended to determining the steady-state dynamic ampacity of a particular transmission line, considering its technical specifications within authentic meteorological settings on a chosen date.
