Background and aim: Malnutrition is a major public health concern for children under five years. About 45% of deaths among children under five years globally are linked to undernutrition. The aim of the study was to to evaluate the patterns and determinants of undernutrition in pre-school age children in four Subdivisions in Mezam division of the North west region.
