Research study focusing on the influence of uncertainty on individuals' life conditions. The study examines individuals' attitudes towards uncertainty, their components of coping with external difficulties, and the expressiveness of components supporting internal complexity. Materials and methods of research. The research was conducted with employees of a large industrial enterprise who were facing critical organizational changes. A total of 177 employees (68 males and 109 females) aged 21 to 62 were included in the study. The experimental group consisted of 101 individuals (39 males and 62 females). Subjects were divided based on life path choice types using the methodology "Typology of Personal Life Path Choice" by V.G. Gryazeva-Dobshinskaya and A.S. Maltseva. Attitudes towards uncertainty were assessed using the "Uncertainty Tolerance Scale" adapted by E.G. Lukovitskaya. Research results. The results revealed that subjects with different life path choices, attitudes towards recognizing and accepting external difficulties, and the intensity of components supporting internal complexity perceive situations of uncertainty differently. Significant differences in uncertainty tolerance levels were identified among subjects with hedonistic and creative, realistic and hedonistic, and valuable and realistic life path choice types.
