The work is devoted to the practical issues of the formation of a system of knowledge and values among university students related to the awareness of belonging to Russian society, the development of a sense of patriotism and citizenship. The author's pedagogical tools are presented, which are proposed for implementation in the course “Fundamentals of Russian Statehood”.
