The article deals with the formalization of the methodology for the development of an intelligent information system for providing the university administration with statistical data on the payment of contract tuition fee. The key factors influencing the decision-making process in the projected information system are identified. The application of the most effective machine learning methods is considered. The effectiveness of the implementation of an intelligent information system for decision support in the operational activities of the university is shown.
