The article presents the current state of legal regulation of the procedure for calling adopted children to inheritance. The order of inheritance by adopted children of assets and property of the deceased testator, their adoptive parent, is of particular interest for study. The legal regulation of inheritance by adopted children may also be infl uenced by the presence or absence of a will. If a person has a will, it may include provisions specifi cally relating to the inheritance rights of adopted children.
