Abstract

The article examines the importance of normative legal documents as a source for studying the history of the development of the sanatorium and resort sector in the Crimea in the period from 1920 to 1941. The analysis of the main legislative acts of the Soviet government, which determined the state policy in the field of resort construction and recreation of citizens, is carried out. Special attention is paid to the role of these documents in the formation and development of sanatorium-resort institutions on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula. The article examines in detail various aspects of public policy, such as the organization of resort management, regulation of prices for services, ensuring the safety and comfort of vacationers, development of transport infrastructure and other measures aimed at improving recreation and treatment conditions in sanatoriums and rest homes in Crimea. The analysis of changes in legislation related to the nationalization and reorganization of resort facilities, the introduction of new forms and methods of work, as well as taking into account regional characteristics and needs of the population is also carried out.
