This study provides a comprehensive overview of the literature on supply chain-based capacity management solutions for the services sector that are based on products and services. According to research, supply chains frequently ignore the topic of capacity management, especially as the trend of supply chains shifting from products to services continues to expand. The findings indicate that there are study gaps regarding evolving network-based supply chain systems in underdeveloped economies. Building capacity is an essential part of modern business operations in supply chain management. To effectively manage and improve supply chain operations, it comprises improving the knowledge, skills and expertise of individuals and organisations. As businesses cope with increasing globalisation, competition and technological advancements, expanding supply chain capacity is essential for achieving operating efficiency, reducing costs and offering value to customers. This essay explores the foundations of supply chain management, delving into more complex subjects and providing solutions for efficient capacity increase.
