Abstract

As autonomous agents increasingly participate in economic transactions, the need for robust, manipulation-resistant reputation systems becomes critical. Repscore is a behaviour-driven trust scoring framework designed for agent-to-agent marketplaces where traditional identity verification and subjective ratings are insufficient. Key Contributions:• A volatility-aware trust score that penalises behavioural inconsistency, not just failure rates• A confidence mechanism combining economic volume and counterparty diversity to weight evidence quality• A deterministic, auditable update rule suitable for high-frequency agent-to-agent transactions• Empirical simulations demonstrating resistance to common gaming strategies including self-dealing, collusion, and oscillation attacks
