A pillar of contemporary government, evidence-based policymaking (EBPM) promotes decisions based on thorough study and empirical facts. The ideas, challenges, and applications of EBPM in national governance systems are examined in this dissertation, with a focus on the UK. This study evaluates the efficacy of EBPM in improving policy results and its incorporation into governmental processes through a thorough assessment of the literature, case studies, and policy analyses.
