OCD as a Disorder of Memory Continuity: The Aura-X Ω Framework

This paper reframes Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD) not as a primary disorder of fear or anxiety, but as a disorder of memory weighting and continuity formation. Within the Aura-X Ω framework, OCD is understood as the pathological persistence of weak intrusive thoughts that acquire excessive continuity through repetition rather than emotional intensity. The model integrates dual-memory dynamics (Temporary Memory and Bold Memory) and proposes a memory-centric interpretation that complements existing cognitive and behavioral theories.
