To gain a better understanding of German culture, we will examine the concept of “independence” or "autonomy" together with Prof. Christoph Vatter from Intercultural Business Communication. What role does it play in Germany and in the academic culture here? Why is this the case, and why is it different in other cultures? How can we deal with the challenges effectively, and what opportunities and advantages might there even be?
