Abstract

The article addresses the problem of forming stable internal motivation for the development of physical qualities among students of the educational organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, using the example of the Ural Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The relevance of the study is conditioned by the increasing demands for the level of physical and professional readiness of future employees of the internal affairs bodies, as well as the need to enhance the effectiveness of physical training in the context of high regulation of the educational process. The aim of the research was to develop and test a program for forming stable motivation for the development of physical qualities among students. Within the framework of the study, tasks were solved related to the theoretical analysis of the essence and structure of motivation, examination of domestic and foreign experiences in motivational support for the educational process, as well as assessing the impact of motivational factors on the level of physical fitness of the students. During the practical part of the study, a program was implemented that included motivational-value, goal-setting, organizational-activity, and reflective-assessment components. The effectiveness of the program was assessed based on a comparative analysis of the level of motivation and physical fitness indicators of students at the Ural Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia before and after its implementation. The results obtained indicate an increase in internal motivation, a heightened interest in physical training sessions, and improved physical qualities such as strength, endurance, and speed. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the developed program in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to enhance the level of physical and service-applied readiness of students to fulfill official duties associated with high risks to the life and health of law enforcement officers, as well as aimed at protecting citizens and maintaining law and order in society.
