MRM RomaMSMranali K ShettyVNVijayendranath Nayak

Key Points

  • The aim is to demonstrate the retrieval of bioceramic sealers using ultrasonics, addressing the challenges in endodontic retreatment.
  • Case report of endodontic retreatment strategy
  • Utilized ultrasonics for retrieval
  • Employed irrigants to assist in the procedure
  • Successful retrieval of bioceramic sealer materials
  • Demonstration of effective adjunctive techniques
  • Establishment of a strategy for managing previously obturated materials

Abstract

Although complete elimination of bioceramic sealers is challenging, their retrieval is achievable with the aid of ultrasonics and irrigants. This case demonstrates a successful endodontic retreatment strategy, emphasizing the clinical relevance of adjunctive techniques in managing previously obturated bioceramic materials.
