Abstract

This work presents an interpretational framework for gravity based on a light-centered operational viewpoint (“light-based cosmology”). Distance and time are defined through light propagation, and observable geometry is reconstructed from light paths. While curvature of the resulting light-geometry is accepted, it is not interpreted as a literal physical deformation of space itself. The framework does not modify the mathematical structure or predictions of general relativity; instead, it provides a consistent reinterpretation aligned with metric-based measurements and optical signaling procedures. The paper clarifies conceptual positioning and compatibility with Newtonian gravity and general relativity, including weak-field limits, gravitational time delay, and light bending.
