Abstract Thestudyinvestigatedemergingchallengesofteacherprofessionaldevelopmentinscience,technologyandmathematicseducation.Tworesearchquestionsguidedthestudy.Thestudyadoptedthedescriptivesurveydesign.MultiStagesamplingwasusedtodrawasampleof200teachers.QuestionnairetaggedEmergingChallengesofTeacherProfessionalDevelopment(ECTPD)withoverallreliabilitycoefficientof0.80asdeterminedbyusingcronbachAlpha,wasusedfordatacollection.Arithmeticmeanwasusedtoanalyzethedata.Findingsrevealedtoahighextentthatemergingchallengesofteacherprofessionaldevelopment,include;lackofresources,infrastructures,trainingfacilities,technologyintegrationskills,funding,monitoring,collaborationandnetworking,mentoringandinadequatesupport.Basedonthesefindings,itwasrecommendedamongothersthatgovernment,institutionsandstakeholdersshouldcollaborateandfindsolutionstothesechallenges.
