Based on the literature on liverworts and hornworts of Arunachal Pradesh available in public domain, a total of 276 species, subspecies and varieties are enumerated representing 47 families and 95 genera. Of these 266 species and infraspecific taxa belong to liverworts or the Marchantiophyta and the rest to hornworts or the Anthocerotophyta. Along with the references the district-wise distribution of taxa within the state is also provided for the researchers.
