Abstract

本研究では,台風等の接近・上陸時に実施する鉄道の計画運休の判断を支援するために,欧州中期予報センターや気象庁が配信するアンサンブル降雨予測を活用して,予測信頼度を把握できる手法を開発した.本研究では,線路沿線の雨量計ごとに設定された運転中止値を超過する確率をアンサンブル降雨予測から求め,過去の大雨事例での予測適中率をもとに,運転中止となる確率を予測信頼度ランクとして作成した.この予測信頼度ランクによる手法を過去の大雨事例でシミュレーションした結果,直前まで進路予測が困難であった台風事例でも,運休開始2日前の時点で運転中止となる線区を予測できる可能性があることが示された.
