Abstract

This article is devoted to the issue of establishing the boundaries of the territories of cultural heritage objects. In the course of the study, with the help of statistical analysis, the problems of loss and resolution of cultural heritage objects were identified, one of the reasons for which is the problem of establishing the boundaries of the territories of cultural heritage objects. The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that many cultural heritage sites do not have legally fixed boundaries of their territories, and already established boundaries are defined incorrectly. With the help of a spatial analysis of the established boundaries of the territories of cultural heritage objects in Vyborg, approved by regulatory legal acts, carried out using GIS technologies and CAD, errors that arose when establishing the boundaries of the territories of the cultural heritage objects under consideration were identified and classified. These errors affect the legal regime of adjacent land plots, which affects the interests of their rightholders, and also contribute to problems when making urban planning decisions in the process of managing land resources of historical settlements. The results obtained allow us to draw conclusions about the need to improve the approach to the design of territories of cultural heritage objects.
