The effectiveness of e-commerce platforms in facilitating local agricultural sales has been explored in various regions globally. This replication study focuses on Ghana's Volta Region to assess whether similar outcomes can be achieved. The methodology involves data collection through surveys and market analysis. Statistical models will be used to analyse the effectiveness of e-commerce platforms compared to traditional sales methods. A significant proportion (35%) of surveyed farmers reported increased income due to using e-commerce platforms for selling their agricultural products, indicating a positive effect on local economies. The replication study confirms the benefits of e-commerce platforms in enhancing local agricultural sales in Ghana's Volta Region. Policy makers should consider supporting the development and use of e-commerce platforms to further boost agricultural productivity and income for farmers. Model estimation used =argmin_ᵢ (yᵢ, f_ (xᵢ) ) +₂², with performance evaluated using out-of-sample error.
