Abstract

ABSTRACT Motivated by the notable pharmacological and biological significance of triazole hybrids, wedeveloped a straightforward synthetic approach for a series of novel (4-(2-fluoro-4-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)phenyl)piperazin-1-yl)ketone derivatives (7a–j) and evaluated their in vitroantioxidant activities. The synthesized compounds were characterized using variousspectroscopic techniques, including 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, and LC-MS, and the obtaineddata were in good agreement with the proposed molecular structures. Antioxidant screeningresults indicated that the synthesized compounds exhibited appreciable antioxidant activity.Among them, compounds 7j and 7b showed the highest and lowest antioxidant activities,respectively, at concentrations of 100, 50, and 25 μg. In contrast, compounds 7f and 7ademonstrated the maximum and minimum antioxidant activities, respectively, at aconcentration of 200 μg, while compound 7c exhibited nearly comparable activity at thisconcentration. Notably, all remaining compounds, except 7a and 7b, displayed antioxidantactivity exceeding 40% at the 200 μg concentration.
