Water scarcity is a significant challenge in Namibia's Nile Basin, leading to conflicts over water resources. Qualitative research methods were employed, including semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders from various sectors. A key theme emerged regarding the effectiveness of community-led initiatives in resolving conflicts over water use. The study underscores the importance of involving local communities in conflict resolution processes to manage water scarcity effectively. Policy makers should encourage more participatory approaches and invest in capacity-building for effective water management solutions.
