Abstract

This study examines the impact of integrated pest management (IPM) strategies on crop yield stability and sustainability in Ghana's Ashanti Region. A longitudinal study design was employed, collecting data from farmers practicing various IPM techniques since. Data collection involved surveys and field observations to measure crop yields and pest infestation levels. Significant reductions in pest damage were observed compared to non-IPM practices (p < 0. 05), leading to a 15% increase in overall yield stability over the study period. Economic analysis indicated an average return on investment of at least 20%, with robust standard errors. The findings suggest that IPM strategies are effective in enhancing both yield stability and long-term sustainability, justifying their widespread adoption among farmers to mitigate pest threats. Farmers should be encouraged to adopt IPM practices through extension services and policy support. Government initiatives could include financial incentives for implementing sustainable agricultural methods. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
