This work proposes an ontodynamic interpretation of inertia within the framework of Wayward Metamonism. Inertia is interpreted not as resistance to motion, but as resistance to resynchronization between the external spatial configuration (1--3D) and its local processual unfolding (5--7D). Mass is shown to quantify the rigidity of this synchronization. The masslessness of the photon is explained by the absence of a closed 7D configuration. The speed of light is interpreted as the universal rate of ontodynamic actualization — the limiting speed at which mismatch between the external and internal projections can be compensated. The resulting framework integrates the principles of Orthogonal Dissipation and Orthogonal Compensation and provides an ontological grounding for both classical and relativistic inertia. The proposed interpretation of inertia as resistance to resynchronization between the external (1--3D) and internal (5--7D) projections of configuration — including the ontodynamic explanation of mass, photon masslessness, and the speed of light as the limit of actualization — is introduced here for the first time and completes the ontodynamic triad of Wayward Metamonism.
