Abstract

Field research stations in Senegal are crucial for environmental monitoring and management. However, their effectiveness has not been rigorously evaluated. Panel data analysis was employed to measure the impact of field research stations on reducing environmental risks in Senegal. The study utilised a fixed-effects model with robust standard errors for statistical inference. The analysis revealed that the field research stations contributed significantly to risk reduction, particularly in areas affected by climate change and pollution. This study provides evidence supporting the effectiveness of field research stations in monitoring environmental risks effectively. Further studies should focus on replicating this methodology across different regions with varying environmental challenges.
