Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant public health challenge in Kenya, with community health workers (CHWs) playing a crucial role in TB prevention and control. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative surveys to assess knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to TB among CHWs and community members. CHW interventions led to a statistically significant p <. 05 improvement in TB-related knowledge (mean increase of 20% in understanding of TB symptoms) among surveyed participants. The findings suggest that targeted CHW training can effectively enhance awareness and preventive practices against TB, warranting further implementation and evaluation. Investment should be directed towards continuous CHW education to sustain the positive impact observed.
