Abstract

This comprehensive review of literature has the purpose of compiling current research in the area of cancer and the effects of exercise as a rehabilitation intervention for cancer patients. For the purpose of organization, this review of literature is broken into six sections; a brief definition of cancer, the most common cancer treatment available, the impact of fatigue on cancer patients, exercise benefits for cancer patients, how the exercise benefits may reverse the effects of cancer treatment, and lastly a conclusion.
