Pan-Africanism has gained renewed relevance in the context of global migration dynamics, particularly as African countries grapple with demographic shifts and socio-economic challenges. The analysis is grounded in a qualitative approach that involves interviews with key stakeholders including community leaders, government officials, and members of Pan-African organizations. A thematic framework guided by established theories of migration and social cohesion is employed to categorize findings. Pan-Africanist networks in Niger have successfully mobilized resources for job training programmes targeting young migrants, resulting in a 40% increase in local employment opportunities among targeted groups. While Pan-Africanism offers promising avenues for addressing migration-induced challenges, its effectiveness hinges on strategic policy integration and sustained community engagement. Policymakers should prioritise the alignment of existing programmes with Pan-Africanist goals to ensure comprehensive support for migrant communities. Additionally, fostering dialogue between traditional leaders and diaspora networks is recommended to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation.
