Abstract

In Morocco, urban slums face significant challenges in accessing justice, particularly for vulnerable populations such as migrants and low-income residents. A policy analysis approach was employed, reviewing existing laws, government initiatives, and public consultations related to justice access in these areas. Findings indicate a significant gap between the legal provisions designed for vulnerable populations and their actual ability to navigate and utilise these resources effectively. Current policies are fragmented and lack comprehensive coverage of all vulnerable groups within urban slums, necessitating a more integrated approach. Develop a centralized policy framework that integrates existing initiatives and addresses the specific needs of urban slum residents, including legal literacy programmes and community engagement mechanisms.
