Abstract

Central African rainforest communities face challenges in maintaining soil fertility due to deforestation and agricultural practices. A mixed-methods approach combining survey data from 150农户and focus group discussions with 20 community leaders to evaluate model impacts and farmer participation. Farmers expressed strong interest (85%) but varied willingness to adopt new practices, primarily in tree species selection and intercropping strategies. Agroforestry models show promise for sustainable soil fertility enhancement with tailored interventions based on local preferences.
