Abstract

It has been three years since OpenAI released ChatGPT widely, and though it may seem like the academic crisis it provoked is evergreen, shades of difference have begun to appear. While the share of college students using it is unknown, survey data from the likes of the Digital Education Council suggests it is high (86% in 2024).
