Abstract

Single-Cell Analysis A single cell and barcoded beads are entrapped within a permeable hydrogel. The barcoded beads capture proteins secreted by the cell using antibodies, while the hydrogel allows seamless diffusion of labeled antibodies. Jointly, they empower a multiplex sandwich immunoassay at the single cell level that is quantified by microscopy.
