Abstract

We propose Cosmic Quantum Coherence (CQC), a hybrid framework unifying the gravitational objective-reduction mechanism of Penrose-Hameroff Orch-OR with Keppler’s TRAZE zero-point field (ZPF) resonance model (2025a,b). Conscious experience arises from resonant coupling between neuronal microtubules and specific electromagnetic ZPF modes. Microtubules function as fractal antennas that selectively amplify biologically relevant ZPF modes, with gravitational self-energy providing discrete “OR” triggers for qualia. The model is scale-invariant and incorporates stochastic resonance, allowing thermal noise (37 °C) to stabilize rather than destroy coherence. A modified collapse-time equation with explicit ultraviolet cutoff and dimensionless coupling constant resolves the “warm and wet” decoherence objection. The framework is fully falsifiable via electromagnetic shielding experiments and bridges gravitational and electromagnetic quantum effects without long-range entanglement fragility. This constitutes the first explicit integration of Orch-OR with the TRAZE framework.
