Gender disparities were notably present throughout Egypt's transitions, particularly during the post-revolutionary era when women's participation was limited to ceremonial roles despite their increasing presence in education and healthcare sectors. Women's influence varied significantly across different political contexts, with some periods showing more inclusive leadership opportunities than others.
