In Egypt's diverse cultural landscape, libraries and archives play a pivotal role in preserving African intellectual heritage. A conceptual synthesis approach is employed to explore existing literature, theories, and practices related to library and archival work in Africa. This theoretical framework underscores the critical role of libraries and archives in fostering a deeper understanding of African intellectual heritage within Egypt's cultural milieu. Public and private stakeholders should consider this framework as a guide to enhance their support for these institutions, thereby ensuring a sustainable future for African arts and humanities.
